‘Promotion of active European citizenship’, for cross-industry trade unions participating in European social dialogue for2005

Participating in European social dialogue, on specific themes relating to the objectives of the programme to promote active European citizenship. Project proposals should relate to one or more of the following thematic areas;
1. the impact of the proposed new Constitutional Treaty;
2. communicating the objectives of the Lisbon strategy and best practices among Member States to consumers, citizens and key stakeholders including trade union members;
3. the production of trade union education and training tools to promote active European citizenship.
4. European values and objectives and their relationship to public services.

Proposals must be submitted by 3 December 2004.
