European Conference "Social Services of General Interest: improving "e-quality" in a changing context"

Agenzia di cittadinanza invites institutions, social, cultural and political organizations to a debate on Social Services of General Interest (SSGI), those services that guarantee fundamental rights and social inclusion. Their definition, regulation, provision and financing represent a real challenge to institutions, market and the third sector at local, national and European level. The conference will deal with some relevant issues of the current discussion regarding SSGI: on the one hand the development of a political and legal framework on SSGI at European level and the considerable diversities of national and local welfare systems and, on the other hand, the necessity to guarantee quality and accessibility to services in a single market perspective.

SERUS will participate to this event, which is organised in the framework of the transnational partnership with the Equal project AGDOR in Örebro.
